Opex Model

Pinaka Solar Power installs the Solar PV System at the premises of customer. The solar PV system installed at client premises is NOT owned by the customer but by a third party or Pinaka Solar Power which is also responsible for its maintenance. However, there would be an agreement with that party and client to consume and purchase the power generated by Solar PV system. The agreement would be called as Power Purchase Agreement and pursue for a long period of 5 to 20 years. Thus, under PPA, a third party shall install Solar system at your premises and maintain it, you have to purchase energy produced by it at predetermined tariff in agreement.

Advantages:

  • Less tariff rates. (In this business model, client agrees to purchase power from developer at a predetermined tariff according to Power Purchase Agreement)
  • No need to make any investment by client for installation as well as maintenance.
  • No operations & maintenance is there in client’s scope.
  • No liability is there in client scope. Client only needs to pay for the power generation by solar plant.
